Women

Women are involved in meaningful relationships with one another – sharing joys, encouraging  through hard times, praying for and with each other, mentoring, and in accountability relationships.

Women at The Ascent are using their gifts for God’s glory and the benefit of others – within The Ascent Church community and for those in their geographic areas.

If you would like to contribute items for the Guatemala or Dominican Republic missions, please bring them to the missions' tables on 5/21 and 5/28.

Our upcoming events:

Women on The Ascent will not be meeting in June. Please enjoy spending time with your families and the beginning of summer!

In July, Women on The Ascent will host a family potluck at the FamCamp on USAFA on Tuesday, July 18. Non DOD card holders should plan on being through the gate by 4:30pm. Please bring a dish to share along with games, balls or even bikes. More details to come but if you could "save the date", that would be great!

Campus Bible Studies

Moms and Beyond:

Moms and Beyond is a mentoring experience based on Titus 2:3-5 that brings moms with children together for the purpose of growing personally and spiritually. The goal is to share practical, scriptural insights on how to pursue God's priorities concerning your husband, children, home, walk with the Lord, and ministry. Each week the group meets as a large group for a period before splitting into small groups led by mentor moms. Moms and Beyond will be taking the summer off and will return in the Fall 2017.

Women on the Ascent: Journey - Corinthians I & II - led by Maria Peterson. Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm. Ongoing study until late May. Join any time! Held at the Woodmoor campus, room 213. Childcare is provided.

Paul's letters to the Corinthian churches include some of most beloved passages in scripture--foundational, essential truths for disciples of Christ. This study provides  spiritual formation and fellowship with other women as they simply read, reflect on and discuss a passage from 1 & 2 Corinthians. Concurrent study by both the Tuesday men's and Wednesday women's groups will also enable families to grow and engage in a common study of scripture.

Neighborhood Bible Studies

Women meet together for encouragement and fellowship in each of the geographic regions. These are opportunities to connect with those who live in your neighborhood and are a great way to introduce your neighbors to others who can encourage their spiritual growth. Contact Pastor Scott Campbell (Woodmoor Campus) for more information.
