Men

MEN

Our Men's Ministry exists to help men in their neighborhoods and areas to connect:

· Intimately with God
· Intentionally with God’s family
· Influentially with God’s world

We are intentional about growing in our relationships with God, our wives & children, and with other Christian men. We encourage men to live the life God intended by connecting, equipping, mentoring and empowering one another, primarily through relationships.

Men on the Ascent Camping Trip - September 22-24, 2017

Hello Men - Let's go camping!

This is a time to fellowship in God's great outdoors as brothers in Christ. This time includes:

Lots of free time for
  • Hiking, ATVs, Jeeps, mountain biking
  • Fishing (nearby Lake Isabel and St. Charles headwaters have brown and brook trout).
  • Canoeing (rentals at lake Isabel)
  • Horseshoes and volleyball
  • Relaxing (remember that?)
  • S'mores around the fire
We'll provide three shared meals (Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast) and a Sunday devotion. All other meals/snacks/drinks, camping equipment (we encourage tent camping), and appropriate licenses are yours to bring.

This is a campout for men and their sons who are High School Juniors or older.

Men on the Ascent Bible Study - Tuesdays, 6:15 a.m.

Who and What

All Men on the Ascent are invited to join us for a special breakfast on May 23 at 6am. MOTA will return after a summer break.

Men on The Ascent  Bible Study - Corinthians I & II - led a panel of facilitators. Tuesday mornings,  6 AM coffee, 6:15-7-30 study. Woodmoor campus room 213 and Café Communitas at Marco’s Pizza. Ongoing study throughout the year until late May. Join any time, no registration required.

Paul's letters to the Corinthian churches include some of most beloved passages in scripture--foundational, essential truths for disciples of Christ. This study provides spiritual formation and fellowship with other men as they simply read, reflect on and discuss a passage from I & II Corinthians. Concurrent study by both the Tuesday men's and Wednesday women's groups will enable families to engage in a common study of scripture.

Whether you are experienced in Bible study and walking with God or brand new, we invite you to join us for a practical time in the Word--We'll study for application in daily life and learn how to help others do the same.
